Mission Statement

We are a Black Belt School!
Our mission, as a school, is to create Black Belt Leaders, plain and simple.

In that regard, we have a vision of Black Belt that goes far beyond merely learning to kick and punch. 

A true Black Belt Leader is one who:
1.  Has Black Belt Technique,
2.  Understands the Black Belt Attitude,
3.  And lives the Black Belt Lifestyle. 

A student who fully understands the Black Belt Attitude knows the value of the Black Belt Creed:
“I am a dedicated student of the martial arts.
My goal is Black Belt excellence.
Courtesy – is how I respect others.
Integrity – is how I live my life.
Perseverance – helps me through challenges.
Self-Control – is how I think before I act.

A student who lives the Black Belt Lifestyle strives to follow the Student Creed:
I will develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that would reduce my mental growth or my physical health.
I will develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself, and others.
I will use what I learn in class constructively and defensively, to help myself, and humanity, and never be abusive or offensive.

Our mission, as a business, is to provide our students with the opportunity to experience many forms of art.  We intend to be a center for the study of martial arts where students may choose a degree program tailored to fit their individual needs and desires.

Black Belt Leaders are Made, Not Born!
Our mission, as instructors, is to teach others to become Black Belt Leaders and Future Instructors.  We encourage, and provide opportunity for, our students to learn communication, leadership, pedagogy, and methodology.  We recognize and appreciate the value of learning through teaching.
